What is your policy on changes and cancellations?
Once your
deposit has been received, your event date is confirmed. We are unable to
reserve an event date without a deposit. If you are
wanting a particular date and we do not receive a deposit, you are subject to
lose that date, as dates are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Deposits are
non refundable, however, you do not lose your deposit. We can apply your
deposit to another day or event of your choice. There will be a $150 charge per date/event change. We appreciate
your business and we will do our very best to ensure that you receive the
quality and service that you expect and deserve.
What can I expect to receive if I book my event at your facility, The Garden Café?
RJRC: Our packages start at $20.00 per person. This includes all tables, all chairs, all linen, clear glass plates, white cloth napkins, stainless flatware, clear solo cups, ice, sugar, sugar substitute, iced tea, dinner buffet or assorted appetizers, dance floor, ground-level covered parking, 24 hour security, room set up and breakdown. Seated plated dinners available for an additional fee.

What if I want a different menu? Can I expect to pay more for the package?
RJRC: All pricing depends on your final menu choices and current market value of the items you have selected.
What if I don’t want the package? How much do you charge just to rent out the facility?
RJRC: The rental of the facility for up to 5 hours is $1,250.00
Do you allow outside caterers in your facility?
RJRC: No we do not allow outside caterers in our facility.
Some of our guests are smokers. Do you allow smoking in your facility?
RJRC: We are a non-smoking facility. Smokers will be able to go outside and smoke. No ashtrays are provided.
We want to decorate the facility. Is there anything you do not allow?
RJRC: You can decorate the facility however you wish. We allow up to (2) hours to decorate immediately before your event. If you need more than 2 hours to decorate, we will charge an hourly rate of $125.00 in order for someone to be there and to have the facility open. We do not allow confetti, glitter, birdseed, or any type of adhesive on facility walls. There are no glass containers allowed outside our facility doors.
Since you do not provide alcohol, can we bring in our own?
RJRC: Yes. You can bring in any type of alcoholic beverage you want.
You may not resell alcoholic beverages unless you have a liquor license.
Do you deliver?
RJRC: Yes, we deliver
What is your minimum for delivering food?
RJRC: Our minimum for delivery of food is $250.00 to deliver within 25 miles of our facility.
If I place an order to be picked up, where do I pick up the order?
RJRC: We are located in the ground level of The Plains Capital Bank Building. The direct phone number to our facility is 817/570-8866. Ask for Richard. For your conveinence we provide easy acess for orders to be picked up.
Do you charge an additional fee to deliver out of the Fort Worth area?
RJRC: All bids are calculated with your location in mind. Most likely, the bid includes your delivery fee, unless otherwise stated on your written proposal.
If I should need to cancel or reschedule my event, do I get a refund on my deposit?
RJRC: No, deposits are nonrefundable. Because we have over 25 years experience, our dates go fast. When we receive a deposit and our appointment book reaches capacity for that date, we close the date out and begin turning events down. We are unable to return deposits as we have already lost money by turning others away. However, your deposit remains available to you and can be used at your convenience. You can reschedule your event or apply the credit amount to a different event. The deposit will be applied toward your final balance.
If I have to cancel my event and I am not planning another event how can I use my credit?
RJRC: You can use your credit at our restaurant facility, The Western Place Garden Café. You can dine in or take out. You can use the credit toward party trays or select food items that can be ordered ahead of time and picked up from the facility. If you have large orders, we can deliver them to you.
